The photographs on this page hold a very dear place in my heart. George and Hazel Davis had a tremendous impact on my life as a young man working on their ranch south of Shamrock, Texas. Last summer George passed and just this last week Hazel went on to join George in Heaven. I am one of many who spent wonderful days on one of the most beautiful Texas Panhandle ranches I have ever seen. George was on of the few men to never tell me I couldn't do something. Hazel was always glad to see me. She would greet me with a large smile, warm hug, and a friendly "how are you Scotty".
To the family I want to say that I hope these photographs help you to hold onto some wonderful memories.
These photographs are dedicated to George and Hazel who built this ranch from nothing, shared their lives with so many. They truly lived a story book life in a story book place. I know my heart carries a piece of their story with me. Over the coming weeks I will be adding more photographs of this wonderful place.
